Provided expert opinion and investigation into a litigation case involving the repair work and performance of DC motors for a subway system. The work included conducting temperature rise tests for DC series motors.
Conducted complex investigations into inverter/motor failures for Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system in San Francisco and carried out harmonic measurements in the factory and in the field. Reviewed the system design and made recommendations to avoid similar problems.
Conducted comprehensive design review, power quality field measurements and failure analysis for the normal and emergency backup power system at the control building for the first electronic toll road (407ETR) in North America as well as for the Area Control Centre, Pearson International Airport, NAV CANADA
